For Drummond Island Township Park: Arrived June 16,2022 plan to stay in until June 21. I parked in site 12 which is on the water, rocky beach, and has 30 amp nearby. Site dirt and grass more level than most, with just enough room for a truck camper. Right on the circular gravel road but traffic generally slow and not too heavy. Best priced of campgrounds that I know of on island at 21$ per night but has only pit toilets, 2 water outlets, no dump station, no showers and 30 amp for about half of the 48 sites. One of the other popular campgrounds also on water has full amenities, takes reservations and is 45$ per night. Most of the water sites are of the smaller variety best for small rigs or tents. Size is reported to be limited to 31 feet. Inner sites tend to be larger. In a cedar woods on northern, westerly side of the island. Seems about half full, tends to be busier and noisier when one of the popular jeep, ATV, get togethers is occurring. Also has a small sandy beach on western side of campground. This is a good site for kayaking when the prevailing winds are not too strong. Short paddle to interesting harbor island. Trip over on ferry for truck camper 30$ with campground 6 miles from ferry dock. Bar, grocery store, hardware store about 2 miles away. Best location for using MIFI devices for internet as AT@T, T-Mobile and Verizon all strong signal, they are weaker the farther you go east on the island in my experience. No reservations and you can use any of the electric outlets if you get there first, may want to bring an extension cord.
