For Scenic View Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Scenic view Campground. Getting to the campground requires you to take some small highways that are not in the best of condition, but doable. One mile from the campground, you drive down a road that has low hanging trees that hit your motorhome, not good. All roads leading to the campground are paved. The road leading into the campground is very steep, but again doable. The roads inside the campground are paved and gravel which are in good condition. The campground is not near a good size town, so shopping requires a little drive out. The office was open and the people were friendly. We went in the office to register with no problems. The store is equipped with some basic goods. All sites have a fire pit and a table. We had site D11. When you arrive, you are at the top of the campground. Our first impression, was this looked really nice. One big pond in the middle of the campground and one small pond in the back of the campground. Here is why only 3 stars. The best scenic view is at the top, where the office and restaurant are located. The camp sites are down in a bowl, around the one side of the lake. Most of the sites are for seasonal folks. The were mostly in good condition. The best sites are right along the big pond, but many could not fit our size RV. Secondly, the sites are not configured to enjoy the best view of the pond. You must backin to the sites along the pond, due to the hookup location. Site D11 is a pull thru. We asked if we could pull in with our RV facing the pond and the owner was very nice and said ok. We had to buy an extra length of sewer hose to reach the connection. The site was not level, so we used wheel leveling blocks. At first, we had a view of the pond and of the little pond, but that soon changed when the other campers came in and blocked our view. Because the site sits lower, no view from inside the RV either. Plus the campers that came in seemed unfriendly. Never spoke or said hello. There is no cable and the over air antenna picked up about two channels. They do have Wifi, but it is limited. No streaming and slow. They do have sites close to the small pond, but they are all 30 amp and no sewer. The bath house was open and very clean. If I were to go back, I would choose one of the backin sites to the big pond, like site B6. They have a garbage bin that you drop off. No recycling. I do not believe we would go back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well..
