Lazy 8 RV Park

Thank you Steve! This was a perfect stop for us. Nice location, concrete pad, full hook-ups. I would recommend this highly for an overnight. The restaurant was closed for an event but we knew this when booking. Excellent communication with the owner. I look forward to BBQ next time!

Excellent site. Full hook ups easy in and out. Only eight spots. Adjacent to a great barbecue restaurant. We really enjoyed this and we will be back. Thanks so much Steve

Nice spot to spend a night! Reasonable price for a full hook up pull through. Clean restrooms/shower and laundry. Doing laundry was included in price, no quarters needed. Steve was very helpful.

Iv been fancier campgrounds but not nicer ! Steve could not have been any nicer . The Bar B Q restaurant was fantastic I got the rids they were great. It’s a great place for a few days but to be honest I’m not sure what’s around the area . The price is right the food is great and the people couldn’t be any nicer . This camp ground is a keeper !

Very nice park with a BBQ restaurant next to the campground. Owner met us upon arrival and welcomed us to the park. The food in the restaurant was some of the best BBQ we have have on our 3 month journey across the southern states. Has free WiFi and laundry. Restrooms were very clean and the laundry machines were immaculately clean.

Stayed here overnight on our way from Palo Duro Canyon to TN. It’s fine for a one night stop but it is very noisy. Location is great, about a mile from I40 but you are right by a busy highway and next door to the owner’s restaurant. People in and out, loud music playing in cars, doors slamming, etc. Steve, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating and his BBQ is great! Full hookups. Only eight sites.

We spent a delightful afternoon and evening today at the Lazy 8. The owner was friendly and gave us his cell phone number for any questions or concerns. He was mindful of our request for Covid precautions and delivered our meal order directly to our site. Will definitely stop back on our rerun trip from east coast.

Just happened to find this small RV Park just far enough away from the I-40 noise and the Best BBQ right next door. We were amazed and so happy to walk next door and have dinner. The owner Steve and his wife were so nice and set us up with a plate of ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. The Cole Slaw was some of the best we’ve ever had along with Baked Beans. Don’t miss out on this restaurant even if the RV Park is full. Fantastic find on our trip back East to Central Florida.

We stayed at the Lazy 8 RV place, and were delighted by the ease of parking, the free washer/dryer provided, and the hospitality of Steve, who also owns the Rustler Restaurant next door. The BBQ was outstanding, and Steve couldn’t be more welcoming. We would definitely recommend both the RV facilities and the restaurant, and would return if we pass this way again.
