For Rancho el Mirage: I was a resident for 4 years in this park, from its beginning in 2016 to 2020. Watched it grow and promoted the park by being active in activities and inviting people to come to the park. My last 2 years with Rick and Dianne Ott turned into a lot of division, and hate discontent among residents. I was the Activities director and confronted her about her attitude, I was told I would not be allowed to return next season or be allowed in the park in the future. She failed to credit my $200 deposit towards my last months rent did not receive that deposit until the middle of April when I got home. End result many former residents have left this park. Absolutely the worst management.

For Rancho el Mirage: The clubhouse and amenties are wonderful. What is absolutely shocking and dismal are the sites. Completely flat, sandy gravel, zero landscaping. The sites are double wide but it looks like a giant boondocking convention! It might as well be a mall parking lot like they use for RV shows. We paid extra to be around the back strip (the park is U shaped with the 'lake' and golf course in the middle) so we could back up to the golf course as our RV has wall-to-wall windows on one side and the back end. The golf course isn't watered so it's mostly brown with hints of green. We are here Jan-Mar 2020. We checked in on a Saturday but the office was closed. We called the number but had to leave a voice mail. The wife called back within 5 minutes and asked us to walk up to their house, get her husband to take us to our site and ask him to turn his phone on. We've not actually been in the office yet. A plus is that there are no annoying speed bumps. A few of the campers have purchased their own fauna; LED-lit palm trees! It's hilarious. Literally NO PLANT LIFE OR LANDSCAPING! If you are coming from the west, DO NOT TAKE THE EXIT on maps. It takes you down a CTY (country) dirt road next to an irrigation ditch barely wide enough for 2 vehicles. Take the next exit which will provide a paved road all the way. On your way east into Wellton, there's a lovely aroma; a slaughter house. Thankfully, you can't smell it in the park. I gave the park 2 * because it IS a nice clubhouse.

For Rancho el Mirage: Love coming here.We stay 5 months in winter it’s so nice and lots of fun. The people make this a great place to stay wether it’s for a night or longer you won’t be disappointed.
