For CrossRoads Coach Resort at the ROB: A new "campground" in Lake City, SC located in a quaint little town within walking distance to shops, restaurants, butcher, and farm stand. We stayed for a month from mid-November to mid-December. The main attraction is a large art festival in the spring (which was cancelled 2020 due to Covid and has been set as virtual for 2021). Back in the day this was the hub for bean export, thus the railroad. The RV park is located only a couple hundred feet from the tracks and trains run UPTO 25 times per day. The longest and loudest of these trains is every night around 12:30am. Although I am sensitive to sound, I adapted and ultimately was able to sleep through trains running at all hours. The park is extremely well managed by Gary who takes personal interest in each campers' satisfaction. This is listed as a resort, however, the only real amenity is a bath house with 4 individual shower/toilet rooms (all very nice) and one laundry area with two stackable units and a fenced and gated dog park (there are also 5 dog stations with bags and garbage set up around the park for convenience, which was very nice to have available). Laundry is currently free, which was really nice, but will be updated to coin laundry at some point in the future. The park does not provide cable TV service, however, we had consistent WiFi and unlimited ability to stream TV. Lake City is a bit limited for things to do and more extensive grocery shopping if staying for more than a week or two, but Florence is only about 25 minutes up the road and has everything to offer you could want or need.
