For Midtown Mountain Campground & RV Park: We really enjoyed this RV park! Beautiful scenery, clean and friendly staff who helped us back into our spot!! Less than a mile (avoid 15 minute walk) to one of our favorite breweries (Lost Hiker) and pizza spot (Cafe Rio)!!

For Midtown Mountain Campground & RV Park: Wonderful place. Clean bathrooms, well maintained park, friendly owner/operated staff. Best feature is the convenience to Ruidoso Village. I wouldn’t consider any other park if access to shopping and restaurants is your main draw here.

For Midtown Mountain Campground & RV Park: This was our first visit to Ruidoso, NM. The main reason we picked this RV park was the good reviews on Google. Our stay was in mid October 2021. The weather was perfect. It was clear each day with temps in the mid to upper 60’s during the day and high 30’s to mid 40’s at night. This campsite is close to the downtown area which is about a 1/2 mile away. The caretakers were welcoming and friendly. The grounds are well kept and bathrooms were clean. The main office also serves as a gift shop. Behind the gift shop are the laundry room, mini gym and dry sauna. There is a small dog park near the office. This is really just a 40 ft dog run lined with bark. Dog poop bags are provided. Our two dogs (German shepherd and lab used it for potty breaks.). The campground claims fast WiFi but the provider was having issues which slowed it down during our visit. We mainly used our Verizon cell service for streaming music, basic web browsing and email. The only downsides to this park are the street noise and noise from the grocery store which is immediately behind the wall on the east side of the upper campsite. Also, there isn’t much privacy between sites. Around 5am each morning there were delivery trucks making loud banging noises as well as “back up” beeping noises. The campsite itself was quiet. There is little privacy between the campsites. There is an “attempt” at privacy by them installing one 6 ft by 6ft wood fence between each site. We would recommend visiting the two lakes in the area, Grindstone Lake and the lake at Inn of the Mountain Gods casino. If you want a good cigar or pipe tobacco try Turkey Foot Pipeworks and Cigars. All in all we enjoyed our stay but might try another site next time.
