For Cooks Lake RV Resort and Campground: Horrible! Surrounding area not safe. Place in sad shape. No wifi. Didn’t see any WiFi infrastructure told it was down 2 months. Never was! Site had no electric. Connection broken. Stayed only 1 night. Out of 30 booked. Staff very snotty. Not a good campground.

For Cooks Lake RV Resort and Campground: Friendly staff, lake is a nice setting- had lake front site Sites have grass with only strips of concrete to get the wheels of travel trailer on. It had rained so it was pretty soggy in the grass. Some mud as well. There was a concrete pad to park our truck on when not hooked up to trailer. WiFi wasn’t very good at all. Only stayed one night passing through Memphis. Didn’t use any of their facilities but did have full hookup.

For Cooks Lake RV Resort and Campground: My husband found this Park when we decided to move back to Memphis. It’s like living in Memphis but not really living in Memphis. We have fallen in love with it. It has a beautiful lake. The owner raises horses and they graze nearby. Wes Cook lets us dock our peddle boat in the lake right behind behind our site. There is lots of space between campsites with a fire ring and picnic table. The amenities keep getting better. We knew this place was a work in progress when we came here. It is progressing nicely. Cooks Lake has a swimming pool, which is fantastic, laundry room, soon to be bathhouses, and I see other projects popping up all around.
