For Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay: Spent 4 days here in June of 2022. This place seems brand new. We stayed in a premium space with fire pit, outdoor chairs and large table. Conveniently located next to I-5 but not noisy at all. Restaurant and bar and all the amenities were excellent. Now that the original Chula Vista resort has closed, this will be our destination in the San Diego area.

For Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay: Undoubtedly one of the finest Rv Resorts we have visited in the USA.This places has everything from gas fire pits at you spot,to pickle ball courts . Large pool 2 hot tubs , restaurant and bar the list goes on and on. Should you be a bike rides a large paved trail cross in front of the park. Public transit is a short walk away. If I had to find a fault with the park a little road noise at night or early morning with our windows open, I think we paid $900 for a week , so it is pricey but you get a lot! We will be back again!

For Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay: This could easily have been a 5 star review. I wanted it to be a 5 star review. The park is simply stunning. This park is new and lovely. We planned a week trip to Southern California for our 25th anniversary and this park was supposed to be the highlight. We booked a premium back-in site along west side. Each site has a gas fire pit with Adirondack chairs and a nice table with six chairs. Concrete pads and patios. Lovely. As is with most parks, the list of rules is quite long and explicit. Quiet hours are 11 to 8am with a note to be respectful of neighboring sites and limit music and noise accordingly. Across the street and four sites down from us were two sites consisting of a large group that had a total lack of courtesy to anybody around them. First afternoon they started playing music at a volume so loud, the speakers were cracking. We literally could not talk to one another at our site without shouting. Over the course of the afternoon, they spread their party into the street blocking half with toys and chairs. They also trashed the area around their site. Now, I get your probably thinking that we’re some old couple that can’t take any noise etc… We’re not. We LOVE a party. In fact we were planning on having some friends over the second day for a get together to have some wine and celebrate but the same party began on day two. We went elsewhere with our friends. It wasn’t what we’d hoped for. We really were hoping to relax around our fire pit with a view of the bay and wetlands. We were so disappointed. Back to the first evening. After about three hours of extreme noise, we called the office. Nothing was done. Other sites called as well. It was a beautiful day and yet all the people in neighboring sites we inside. We watched a person two sites FARTHER away stood outside with her phone complaining to the office. The whole scene was nuts. It wasn’t until 10:45, 15 min prior to Quiet Hours, that a staff member arrived. Then the arguments about how “we have 15 more minutes!” Etc.. No resolution. At 11:10 the speakers were turned down but the shouting and singing continued. It was much better for us due to how far we were from them but the folks closer were screwed. Day two was exactly the same. Here’s the point and reason for the two star review. If this guest behavior is considered acceptable by the staff, as it appears to be, let this review be a warning to all looking here for a nice place to stay. Honestly, we were in disbelief at the lack of concern by staff. The beautiful grounds and facilities here along with its price make it seem like another luxury Motorcoach resort. It is not. Plan accordingly Sadly, at these prices, I won’t take another chance here.
