Memphis Belle

For Tiger Mart: I love this place. It's the only stop I have to make between Memphis and Dallas. Restrooms are always clean. 3 Foods places to choose from, ease of getting off and on the interstate. The Original Fried pies are amazing. I always get them for family and friends. They have souvenirs, pretty purses, and nik nacs. Being a woman traveling alone , I always feel safe stopping here day or night. They have great jars of Salsa, sauces, jellies too.

For Tiger Mart: Let the public beware... Today, November 24, 2018, we stopped in to use the one bathroom, that serves Denny's, TigerMart Travel Center and a fried pie shop. When I arrived there were about 6 women in line, which on a Saturday at 11:30 am, after Thanksgiving holiday was not unexpected. Also in the line was a Denny's employee. The women's bathroom has 4 stalls. One Handicap stall and 3 other stalls. The handicap stall had an Out Of Order sign posted on the door. However, while standing in line we observed that neither of the two hand dryers worked, the paper towel dispensers ran out of paper towels and 2 of the 3 working stalls had run out of toilet paper and all three stalls that were open were filthy with what can only be described as explosive diarrhea. I asked the Denny's employee if she knew who to talk to about getting the paper dispensers refilled. She replied that she had no idea. After using the facilities I went out into the Travel Center to find an employee to fill the paper towel and toilet tissues dispensers and perhaps clean the toilets and dump the trash cans. There were only two employees working at the time. One was at the register handling gas, lottery tickets and such. The other employee was occupied down at the fried pie area. I grabbed a napkin dispenser off one of the tables and took it to the bathroom so that the women could at least dry their hands after washing up. It seems to me that on a busy Saturday morning after a major holiday that there would be somebody employed to clean and service the bathrooms. It also appears as if there could be liability issues should one of the employees that handle food not be able to properly wash up after using the facilities and go on to cook and/or serve food to unsuspecting public. This is a health and safety issue and should probably best be addressed with the health department or code enforcement. Personally I feel that should an emergency arise where I need to use a bathroom, I would go on to Skagg's or McDonald's and I certainly wouldn't eat at this facility.

For Tiger Mart: For a small fleet of 12 power units running 8 loads per week to Ft Worth out of Edison NJ, Dallas right back and having cost partnership with 3 much larger transportation companies running the same lane as mine, the worst thing your clean little fuel stop could have done is allow your old very disrespectful security guard approach 2 of my drivers and myself threatening very loudly to call the police and have us removed from the property for parking out of the way of through traffic to make weight adjustments after fueling. Huge mistake! The afore mentioned companies as well as mine have appropriated accounts to fuel at the state line instead! The 76 is just as clean and no charge or threats to my parking drivers! I will be damned if I allow ANYONE to treat my drivers in such a disrespectful manner let alone myself! Cleanliness and goodies alone do not make a lucritive truck stop and you will see that! You just cost your small operation big money!

For Tiger Mart: They need to post a sign about their parking fee besides waiting till you run out of time giving you no option but to pay

Slowwagon

For Tiger Mart: Nice new travel plaza, but there is a $10.00 over night parking fee for 18 wheelers unless you buy 100 gallons of fuel. I was told at the register that I only had to buy 70 gallons to get my $10.00 back. I was also told they don't charge this parking fee on Sunday. This was my planned stop so I paid this time, but I will definitely consider this in the future.

Pennypackmo

For Tiger Mart: Great new station. We are a 30' gas RV towing a 20' enclosed trailer and we found this location was very easy to access and super easy to maneuver. The store was well stocked; bathrooms were large and clean. We did not eat but there seemed to be lots of options. This is a highly recommended stop (so many bad reviews at other regional stops - we were relieved to find this!)
