For Jekyll Island Campground: Dirty!!!! This campground is in dirt and the trees drop debris on the RV. Horrible. Tight spaces 3 ft from your neighbor. Absolute nightmare and too expensive. Would never return.

For Jekyll Island Campground: Jekyll island is a beautiful place to visit. The campsite host met us at th le gate and we were escorted to our site. We had a pull through site with plenty of room on both sides of us. Water, sewer, cable all east to access. There will be bugs/gnats (welcome to the south) so make sure you have spray. The trees are filled with Spanish moss which make for a scene out of a movie. We took advantage of a bike ride around Jekyll to explore. The bike/walking paths take into spaces you would not see from the drive in. Absolutely breathtaking. On our ride we saw the construction sign where they are updating the campsite for a newer bathhouse and more camp site.

For Jekyll Island Campground: Nice place to camp. Many sites are rather close together, but we were impressed with how quiet it was. They are in the process of expanding and also replacing one of the older bathhouses. There are lots of trails to walk and bike. We stayed on the island for the most part, but be aware that there is a fee ($8) to come onto the island that is in addition to the camping fees. The $8 fee allows you to go on and off the island until it expires at midnight. For those staying longer, there is an annual pass. If you visit in January or February, you may find one of the handmade glass balls that are hidden across the island. They actually hide clear spheres that are traded in at the visitor center for colorful hand-blown ball.

For Jekyll Island Campground: Beautiful island. The biking trails were absolutely fantastic, as well as the temperature, and the weather. The campground is very nice, with great Wi-Fi. The sites are a little close together, but the water, electric and septic on each side was wonderful. Friendly staff, and they drive you to your side when you first get there. We plan on coming back here again! Beth house was clean, laundry facilities on site.

For Jekyll Island Campground: Jekyll Island is pristine and beautiful. This campground needs help. The staff are very nice. Only one working bathhouse for over 150 spaces and it needs repair. The spaces are tight as reported, the cable for TV is laying above ground from site to site. The picnic benches and fire rings are sporadic, not one for each site. I did not have a reservation, but they had plenty of sites. Told me $54 cash only, but had no change for a hundred. Wanted to send me off to an ATM when they somehow found change. For such an idyllic setting and $54.00 I would expect much better.

For Jekyll Island Campground: Friendly welcome, but stressful in and out due to encroaching live lak limbs all, over the island. The campground was perfectly fine. We stepped in dog poop on our site somewhere, but could never figure out where due to pine needle carpet. We absolutely loved our midweek stay! We had the bicycle trails around the island almost to ourselves!

For Jekyll Island Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Jekyll Island Campground. We had a great time. The road in is fine. Take the first left once on the island or otherwise you go through a round-a-bout. Camp office and store is nice. Very friendly. They have staff to take you to your site. Camp sites differ depending on what section you are. We had section T, which is their newest. It is big and spaced nicely. The sites were level and are gravel. None have water views. There are many pull thru and back in sites. Most have full hook up. We had good Wifi and they have cable. Very nice. All have pic nik tables and fire ring. The bathhouse is nice. They have garbage and recycle disposal. Bike trails are just outside the park. You can bike the whole island. 21 mile loop. Section B is also nice. Lots of shade, but a little closer together than I like. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...
