For Scott AFB FamCamp: Have only done 3 Famcamps but this one is, for us, the most relaxing. While it would be nice to have sewer hookups, the dump station was convenient and we were fine with it. Will definitely be back.

For Scott AFB FamCamp: Very pleasant staff. Site was gravel, but nice and level! Dump station easy access. Be sure to bring extra long hose and power cord. Our site had both water and electrical box on the curb side of our rig. Thank goodness the power cord could reach...barely. Lots of trees which makes for nice shade during hot weather, but difficult to get satellite signal. Will definitely be back.

For Scott AFB FamCamp: New, clean, first class bathroom facilities with dedicated laundry room with coin operated two washers and two dryers. Easy to use dump facility with fresh water clean up hose. Easy bike ride to golf course and all the base amenities.

For Scott AFB FamCamp: Wow! Y’all are a tough crowd! Scott FAMCAMP was awesome as far as I am concerned. Yes, there are a few minor issues, but for the price you pay it can’t be beat! Trees, pristine restroom and shower area, well, at least the women’s area was! Our site was gravel AND it was raining hard when we arrived AND our hookups were on the opposite side of Motorhome. We have a 40 foot Tiffin Phaeton, and our site, #1 was a little tight, but we were able to park our Toad right across the drive in front of the bathhouse. Everyone we encountered, staff and campers were pleasant. The lack of septic is a minus, but🤷🏼‍♀️. The dumpsite was easily assessed. I would definitely stay here again for longer, in order to spend time visiting the sights in St. Louis. We were only here two nights. I hope I will be able to post my photos after I finish my review. 7-18-2019 and 7-19-2019.

For Scott AFB FamCamp: Third review for Scott FamCamp. No real changes since 2016, still run down, still poorly maintained, still quiet. Stayed in Site 20 this year, which is a long level paved run. Bent and non maintained camp grill and one picnic bench. Sites 16 & 18 are handicap access, with huge and extra wide runs and paved bench area. For the 14-20 sites, these are primo. Other even sites (14-24) are level while odd sites (13-23) all fall away to the rear (not level). Sites 1-12 are around the laundry/shower facility and are dirt/gravel. These are very long and well shaded. Laundry/showers are still disgusting; 2 washers/dryers although 1 dryer was not working during our stay. CONSTRUCTION NOTE: Wherry (DISA) gate near FamCamp is being redone to include 4 lanes (hopefully camper accessible in the future). Because of this, you cannot enter the lake/camp via Pryor Rd. On Golf Course Road, go through the stop sign, past the old chapel and DISA contract facility and you will see signage for the FamCamp with a left turn entrance. FSS/ODR: Please invest some resources here; this can be so much better!

Mi

For Scott AFB FamCamp: Staff was courteous and helpful. Sites are not level. Very muddy around campsite. Picnic table inaccessible due to mud. Grass needed cutting. Grass was knee high in some areas. Base is very nice and clean. Would camp here again.
