QuikVik

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: This is a gravel lot with no view to speak of. All open. Staff is nice and friendly. That does not make up for the highway noise and desolate appearance. We could not drive any further that day so we stayed even after we drop in and saw what it was like. E & W only was $39.

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: Dirt and mud parking lot. Next to freeway. $50 for the night! Horrible. Keep going don't bother wasting your money. You would be better off boondocking in one of the paved freeway parking spots for big rigs.

Lots of freeway noise. I stayed in #30.

Ian

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: An old muddy spot with intermittent wi-fi. The staff is quite pleasant and the bathrooms are reasonably clean, but no other redeeming features to this place. I really don't understand how they can justify the incredibly high cost

Smitty

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: Nice park, but the staff doses not know the sites. Be sure you specify your combined length for a pull thru. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Chuck

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: Easy to get off I80 and find the KOA. Staff was excellent. Sites are gravel but level, we needed a 1 nite stay over and this park fit the bill quite nicely.. Liked the guide escort to the site.. Weather was nasty, cold with winds blowing 35 to 50 but that's life.. We'd stay here again

Tom

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: Never paid to camp in mud before. Nice view if some storage tanks. Welcome to Rock Springs...

Srsapo

For KOA Journey Rock Springs: Easy access and lots of room. Still gravel, but nicely compacted. Freeway noise minimal, on par with other campsites in middle of Wyoming. Super nice staff with small convenance store and propane. Great "dog park" with lots of room. Owner planning on blacktop in future. Staff is planting trees and upgrading. Stayed twice, once up and then back.
