For Marina Dunes RV Park: Stayed for two nights on a water and electric site, no cable on the cheaper sites. Packed gravel. Paved interior roads. Nice shower house.Verizon LTE two bars. There's not many choices in the area and their prices reflect the lack of competition. I paid $50 a night for e&w only. But wait, there's more! They charge $5.00 to dump too. Come on, $80.00 a night with full hookups. But you do get sewer and cable. All that said, if I return to the area I would just bite the bullet again and stay there again.

For Marina Dunes RV Park: Based on their name and advertising, we expected to be hearing waves however no matter where you are in the park all you can hear is the highway on the other side of the fence.

For Marina Dunes RV Park: We have stayed here several times. The sites can be tight getting into and out of, but are really quite nice, small patio, table, fire pit, shrubs between most sites. If you like cycling, you can ride from your site to Cannery Row, on a protected bike path almost all the way. The staff have been responsive and friendly. Yes, it's expensive, likely due to anti-campground pressures from the Monterey area hotel interests. There are very few places to camp in the area. The highway noise really drops off after about 10pm.

For Marina Dunes RV Park: Clean and modern facility with friendly staff. Bathrooms were clean and accessed with a code lock, and the WiFi was decent as well as the cable TV. Yes, it's a bit pricey but take a look at hotels in Monterey. You can walk to a nice beach or ride your bikes and eventually hook up to the bike trail to Monterey. Definite highway noise, but not a deal breaker; just don't expect to only hear the sounds of breaking waves.

Bohopia

For Marina Dunes RV Park: Brian the new manager here has really turned things around and made improvements throughout the property. You'll find his kindness very refreshing. We were spoiled. Super hot showers with strong water pressure in a very clean and spacious bathroom (with removable shower heads felt like a hotel). Level sites with space and privacy. Can see a lot of money has been invested. Brand new fast wifi and they're skoolie friendly! Walmart down the street and short, healthy walk to a gorgeous beach.
