For Scott AFB FamCamp: Very clean, very well maintained but only 1 community fire ring just north of restrooms

For Scott AFB FamCamp: Getting to the FamCamp was a little tricky as they are doing construction to the Base so if you aren't looking, you will miss your turn. The area is pretty spread out with room to setup anything you need for a long stay. The Dump Station could be a little better and more than one. You have to wait for the one dump station and if you leave late, you may be waiting for a little while. Make sure you have a portable tank if you are going to be staying here long term. If you don't want to use the facilities in your rig, there is a shower and restroom facility that is really close you can utilize. We camped at Scott AFB FamCamp in a Fifth Wheel.

For Scott AFB FamCamp: The location is great, back in the wooded area of base. Most sites have decent shade. Easy to catch the Metro train to St. Louis. We rode our bikes around base and the campground for 12 miles. The negatives are…it needs some serious TLC! Showers looked like they had not been cleaned for awhile, laundry room had dead bugs everywhere, and although they mow the grass every week, the area around grill and picnic tables was still ankle deep. We would stay here again, just lower our expectations

For Scott AFB FamCamp: Found that the site i was put in was not level and i had to pull in so that my electrical cord would reach. The site had the potential of be a great area. I’m use to the Air Force standards and this was not it. The bath house needs to be updated with a stall for disabled persons. The camp needs to be seriously looked by a engineer and developed. There is not her for the kids to do, no playground however there is room for more sites along with a playground. No camp host on site. If going to stay there for the price i would not stay more than a night or two.

Rob & Mer

For Scott AFB FamCamp: This is small, 2 section campground. No camp host or check in. Go to main gate (Seibert), go to first stop light, turn left, follow road all the way past golf purse when you pass a large aircraft on your right there will be a small sign on the right, to turn left to famcamp. We were in the first area with our 44ft 5th wheel. The road getting in there was narrow. We were lucky & got a large, paved handicap spot. 2 small ponds & great dog walking. No poop stations. Didn’t use laundry (2wash/2dry) or bathrooms. No sewer h/u, but there’s a dump station. We enjoyed this park. Quiet area, some jet noise. Has what you need on base & not too far from other cities. We would definitely stay here again.

For Scott AFB FamCamp: Very pretty and large park, however… the rv/trailer sports are bottlenecks gravel pads not level and not full service water and electric no sewer, it’s somewhat confusing to get to. The actual park as three roads access roads one is closed off, one goes thru a training tent area that is a thought road.
