For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: Very nice park with electric and water- most sites are level and plenty of room between the sites - nice park - sone sites are in the sun and sone under very large trees next to the lake/river -we stayed in 11 and was very pleased

For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: As always a great little campground for a nite (or even a few). So glad they expanded! This is probably our fourth time stopping here on our way to and from Colorado. Great deal for the money for sure!

Joe Carol

For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: The town put in 8 new spaces with water & electricity this year. Nice spot for an overnight stay.

Sarah

For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: This was good for what it was. Here's our Pros and Cons: Pros: cute town, quiet, pretty with the river, friendly cop came by and let the kids see his car, easy first come first serve payment box, fire pit and grill and picnic table, $20 was great for just passing through on our way to Utah Cons: even though the sites say water and electrical there is one box between every two campsites. Some of the water hookups only have one spicket so only one site can use. The electrical at our site was not putting out 30 amp as it said so we just ran our generator. There was a WiFi with password but our phones couldn't detect the WiFi to sign on. We made due with those but would have rated it a 5 if those things had been working. We would stay again if passing through.

Rob Barr

For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: Not up to others reviews. At 1pm only one site available (all others taken up by what appears as “full Timers”. No 50 amp sites. More of a “Mobile Home Park” than a RV Park.

Rachel B

For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: Wonderful small town campground with large shady spots on the river. Nice and clean bathrooms. Short walk to the quaint downtown and a large playground. Sites are first come first serve and typically full up by 3 pm, so get there early. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra night. Stop by Gella’s in Hays for a delicious meal and great beers!

Haysoos

For Ellis Lakeside City Campground: Very convenient, peaceful park right off the interstate. Hot showers, clean basic facilities. Best of all, tall shade trees covering most of the sites. Short walk to town (which needs your business), bored cops drive through hourly and wave. Childhood home of Walter Chrysler. We’ll return.
