For Camp Carlson Army RV Park: Stayed two nights as we began our cross country (2-23/24-2024. Nice sites and level sites. Staff was friendly area was nice and traffic not back except for a slight blind curve as you try to exit park. Yes I would stay again and do recommend.

For Camp Carlson Army RV Park: We stayed the month of December 2022. Be warned - there is a steep hill with no turn lane leading into the park. We came in after hours but had no issue checking in with the camp host. Really enjoyed the surrounding hills, trees, creek and lake! I found the staff and hosts during my stay to be both friendly and helpful. My concerns are with security as the site is well removed from main post and there seems to be an issue with jurisdiction for law enforcement coverage. All in all I would return for another stay.

For Camp Carlson Army RV Park: Stayed one night Easy to get in/out. T-Mobile cell service as well as MiFi worked. Had two bars of 5G and able to stream with no problem. Verizon had one bar. Beautiful nature area in the back of the camp. We also used a gym on post that was nice enough. We plan on stopping here again.

For Camp Carlson Army RV Park: I did not have an issue with the camper on itself. It is true that it does not get good TV signal or Wi-Fi service. Those things did not bother me. The campground had a host when I was there that was very belligerent because I mistakenly bypassed his Camp host sign. It was after hours when I pulled in. There was no sign from the campground itself about how after hours check in worked. Like out there military campgrounds that I have stayed in, I proceeded to my site and plan to check in in the morning. The campground host and his friend proceeded to fly up and “greet me” like a ghost infantry team. At one point I almost felt like the host was going to hit me even though I was being very respectful and apologized for misunderstanding. I was very glad my kids did not see this. Later I talked to the director of mwr. I found out there had been many written complaints against this gentleman. I was glad I did not write a complaint because these complaints were given to him and he directly confronted all those campers the following day.

For Camp Carlson Army RV Park: Camp host extremely rude!!!!!!!!! We came in at 12:48 went to the office I was told they were closed for lunch till 1, however the camper that pulled in right after us got their spot right after I walked away to wait for 1. She was rude, very worried our pets and if we know how to pick up after them, signs posted you cannot throw away doggie bags so I am not sure what we are supposed to do? No cable, no internet and no cellphone reception!!!! Very noisy at night, with whatever it was outside! Spots right on top of each other, tight trying to park. Commissary and px within five miles, only nice thing to say about this place! Oh yeah why can’t we wash towels in the laundry room? Silly rules, MWR ran wouldn’t stay here again already ready to leave been here seven hours!!! It’s gonna be a very long week! I would leave tomorrow but they won’t refund for early departure! Stay away don’t come here find somewhere else!

For Camp Carlson Army RV Park: Clean shower and restroom. Plenty of washer and dryers. Mostly gravel level spots. Full Hook ups were good. Table and grill. We overnighted here. Good place.

For Camp Carlson Army RV Park: Based on other Army recreation areas, this park scores high. While limited TV channels and cellphone reception, it had exactly what we wanted. Away from the big city but close enough to several key attractions. Easy access to the commissary and Exchange. Office staff were very friendly and helpful. The camp hosts on duty, Chris and Sabine set the bar high when it comes to the ideal characteristics and behaviors of camp hosts. Friendly, responsive, helpful to all, and dedicated to their roles and responsibilities. Stayed 30August-2Sept2019
