For Medora Campground: We will not be staying at this campground again. The site we were given was extremely tight. We did not put out our slide. It appeared that the site was dirt, it was very dusty. At 3am in the morning it started to lightning and thunder. I got up and disconnected our electric and water because if it rained things were going to get very dirty. The person in the site next to use had to park their tow vehicle partly in front of us. We were leaving early in the morning and was not sure I could navigate around the RV on the left and their tow vehicle on the right. However we just made it by driving up on the edge of the sidewalk around the bathroom building. The power and water services were functional. We didn't use the shower or bathroom so can't comment on their condition.

For Medora Campground: We have been in a lot of campgrounds coast to coast and I think this is the closest spacing I have seen. The first night here I don’t think my neighbor could have opened his slide if he had one. The next couple of nights the place was pretty empty which was nice. Everything is dirt. We had a full hookup. Bathrooms and shower were clean and in good condition. Staff was really nice. We came about 2 weeks after the summer season. We did not realize all there is to do in this town in the summer. Like a little Branson, MO. But that would also mean this campground would be packed which would not make for a very good experience. You just need to be prepared to know your neighbor. Off season would probably be fine but that’s us. Nice place to play in the river. Dog run. Amazing tennis and other rec facilities. Camp store is really nice.

For Medora Campground: This is a good location if you are passing through and want to quickly stop at Teddy Roosevelt national park or visit Medora. However, there are a few things to note. It is VERY crowded and squeezed together. The next campsite over had their sewer line under our picnic table. There was probably only 6-8 feet between campers or tents. The check in office was cute though and we had a good view of the park. But, if we had been there longer than 1 night, would have been VERY disappointed.

Linda

For Medora Campground: Great location to visit Medora and TR National Park. Most if not all sites are pull thru. No problem with electicity. No TV if you don't have satellite. Sites are narrow but long. Cheap laundry. $1 to wash and .25 for 10 minutes to dry.

Serena

For Medora Campground: Stayed just one night travelling through. Abundantly adequate. 🤪. Best part was the very nice staff. The public restrooms was infested with flies...but thats not the campgrounds fault—they tried to keep the doors closed. Sites were good sized pull-throughs, even though the front desk said the site wasnt long enough for our 24ft RV pulling a motorcycle trailer. It was big enough. The only real complaint i have is the site had a “trough” on both sides that when we pulled our trailer into the site, the hitch dragged on the ground pretty bad. Otherwise, good campground for visiting Medora & Teddy Roosv Park.

Frequent traveler

For Medora Campground: We stayed in the recently opened new section; still needs landscaping but is very nice. Look like it was designed primarily for big rigs. Large, long, wide pull-thru gravel FHU-50 amp spots. Very good internal roads. Quiet. City pool down street in walking distance. Poor camp wifi but personal hot spot wifi was fine. No cable. OTA TV = Zero stations...so bring satellite or a good book! Stream in back of park. Very near Medora Musical, Pitchfork Fondue, and south entrance to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. North entrance to park is about an hour north. Both are very different. Recommend all. Definitely would stay here again if in the area and as, we’d like to see the musical and eat at the Pitchfork Fondue again, we probably will stay here again!

Hermine

For Medora Campground: This place is a huge disappointment. It is very expensive for what you get. The spaces are extremely small, and unlevel, our slideout, almost touched the next door slide out. We could plainly hear the conversation of the people at their picnic table right next to our motorhome. I doubt i would ever stay here again. This is the worst city park I have ever stayed in. It seems that city parks generally have large spaces and are very reasonably priced, not like this. The one good thing, is the person checking us in. He was very friendly and helpful.
