Not to average KOA standards. Needs a good cleaning.
VERY loud traffic noise from I-40. Won’t be back.

Called 40 minutes out and got a spot. We are 40’ MH with a tow. Pull thrus very long with several feet to spare. Right off the freeway but minimal noise due to the trees. Very nice hosts. Took us to our spot. Would have given it a 5 but the .7 mile side road to get in has a few low branches that hit the cb antenna. Glad it wasn’t full or we might have had an issue leaving. Roads are one lane. Trees not an issue inside camp. Gravel roads. Grass and dirt pull thrus. Fire rings/tables. Trail to the lake. Kayaks to rent. Dog areas. It has everything you need for several nights.

Really nice campground. Friendly staff and nice space between campsites. Very clean bathrooms, showers and laundry. The trail to the lake needs a little attention but otherwise a very nice overnight stay.

Watch out for space 21. The sewer drain in almost underground. Very unsanitary and health issue. We went to dump and hubby noticed. Flagged down a worker. Oh yea we know of this issue. It’s the only in the park that way. To dump we had to move to a site we could dump in.
Stopped by the office on the way out to let them know. Same response. Yep we are aware of the situation!!
No manager or owner on site because it’s Sunday.
Park was not full so they could have put us in another site. We made reservations the night before online. We are KOA members.

Great location in north part of the lake. Close to I40. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Helped us to get our kayaks to the water. Lots of weekend activities for the kids. Can’t beat it. This KOA is pretty close to home so it will make a great weekend get away but anytime would be good.

We just needed to stop for propane but wish we could stay longer. Cute place tucked in next to the I40. Easy access. Friendly staff. They even had treats for our puppy.

Very nice park. We enjoyed it and will stop again. Easy off and easy on.

I don't get the great reviews. This place is kind of depressing. Sounds great on paper but that's it. We moved on and didn't stay.

Nice RV Park, we visited after tourist season, so cafe closed. But super nice staff with very nice facilities. We found level sites, peaceful area near the lake. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Excellent KOA! Very family friendly. Weekend "train" rides and farm animals to pet, doesn't get any better for the little ones. The staff was outstanding and very accommodating. We turned our overnight stay into a two day rest/relaxation period. Worth every penny.
