Marcia

For Goose Lake State Recreation Area: Very nice campground, as are all Oregon State campgrounds. Clean, well kept and lots of space between campers. The town of Lakeview has a good grocery store and there is a mountain pass to explore nearby. The lake is often dry. Abundant birding. Nice older showers, a couple of short trails. $34/night w/20amp hookup for out of state, $7 extra vehicle. A good place to spend a night or two.

Yamhillian

For Goose Lake State Recreation Area: If you hate chirping birds, the sounds of cattle, deer out your window, nice level and wide spaces, this place is horrible! Otherwise we loved it.

Britgal

For Goose Lake State Recreation Area: A little gem. Peaceful and quiet. Lots of birds. Flat sites with some space between. Bathrooms a bit dated. Free shower, which was hot after a little glitch was fixed. Ranger was very nice. We would stay here again. Excellent dump area too.

ASG

For Goose Lake State Recreation Area: Stayd here two nights in mid-September. This is a very nice campground, arranged in a ring around a center grass area. The charge is $24/night with all back-in sites, and our 35' fifth wheel fit with no problem. The hook-ups are 20 amp electrial and water with a dump station at the entrance to the park. Lots of trees and a herd of deer that frequent the center of the park throughout the day. Would stay there again.

Nuzan

For Goose Lake State Recreation Area: Stayed here for one night. Very quiet with lots of wildlife roaming through. There was even an errant cow from the pasture next door. Sites are mostly level with 20amp electrical and water. We didn’t use the dump station but it appeared to be very functional. The rate was $24. Firewood and ice are available for an additional fee. Would stay here again.

HowMar

For Goose Lake State Recreation Area: Love this peaceful place. Feels a bit like camping in a park. Level sites. Not for big rigs though. The best part are the visiting deer who come in the fall for the apples which have fallen from apple trees left by pioneers. Great place to see/hear birds too. The camp hosts are friendly & knowledgeable. Campsites are arranged around a large green grassy area. Place is never full since it is a bit out of the way.
