For Schreiner City Park - Junction: This is a very nice county park with free dry camping for three days and situated along a creek with a spillway. The roads may have a dip or two but very drivable, trash cans scattered about plus tables. I just found a level spot and parked. I would gladly stop again. Verizon coverage is 1x 3g. Texting was even difficult but we lived through it ( first world issue ha ) for a free night. Try Lum's BBQ, delicious pulled pork, beef brisket and ribs. Thanks Junction.

For Schreiner City Park - Junction: Thank you Allstays! This is a beautiful FREE park right by the water! We filled up with water at the Reststop near Sonora, prior to heading to this fabulous park. We only stayed overnight, but would have enjoyed staying longer! (The three day max) we will definitely be back and enjoy another gorgeous sunset and/or moonrise!

For Schreiner City Park - Junction: Thanks to Allstays for the tip on this great free park! We were only campers. Slight highway noise but otherwise very quiet & peaceful spot to sleep. Friendly city official did stop us from filling our RV water tank, explaining the water is just for day use. He did encourage us to come back & stay up to 3 days. Bathrooms temporarily closed for repairs. Very little signage & unmarked sites. Great spot, would definitely use again!

Linda
For Schreiner City Park - Junction: Maximum stay 3 days. Dogs must be on leash. Also called Junction city park. County park across river. No camping there.
PROS: Better than most private parks. Only 1 other rig camped there. Camped overlooking the river. No one right next to us. Very clean. Did feel safe. Walking distance to town. Would definitely recommend.
I would love to give this a 5 stars review but I can't.
1) No verizon service. Had 1g !and 4 bars
2)Road noise and a few cars driving through at dark; it did stop about 10 pfm and then picked up again about 6am. Did not check out bathroom

For Schreiner City Park - Junction: Great overnight boondocking spot. Thanks to AllStays App for the lead.
Big-Rig friendly and you can't beat "Free". Unhooked the toad and did some quick grocery shopping in town and checked out the other "expensive" RV parks in the area for future reference. They were all full for the upcoming 4th of July weekend. Good thing we found this nice city park.

For Schreiner City Park - Junction: We needed a place to spend the night while headed west. Tha Camp/RV app helped me discover this city park in Junction , TX. We got there just before data ND enjoyed a quiet night on the banks of the Llano river. The par was clean and we'll lit. Best of all the price was right (free). We will use this park often and spend money in Junction .
