HereWeGoAgainRV

For Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole: They say big rig friendly, but it’s extremely tight maneuvering, not much room to park car and they don’t trim the trees and bushes. Wouldn’t pay to go back We have a 41 ft. motorhome with towed vehicle.

For Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole: I believe this is now called Fireside Resort. It is the only RV park in the area that could accommodate our size so we were grateful to be able to get a spot here. Entrance near the office is a little tight, as are the internal roads, but they are do-able for big rigs, if careful. They have a mixture of site types… ours was FHU-50 amp but some have limited hookups. Decent wifi, most of the time. Cable. They have both pull-thru and back-in sites; all are a bit cramped. We had to ask two of our neighbors to move their trucks for us to get into our site. Our site is bordered by trees which required precision in backing up but beautiful once we were there. Small stream at the back of the park. Lots of grass and trees surrounding site. We were told that moose sometime wander the park but, sadly, this did not happen when were were there. Would stay here again if in the area.

Sunny

For Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole: Despite the other reviews, we had a great experience here. It is now called Fireside Resort, and there are beautiful modern cabins along the driveway as you enter the park. We stayed in a brand-new loop of the park with full hookups, plenty of space, and a grassy site. The staff were so kind and accommodating for a couple special requests. Moose wandered through the park. The hot tub was very nice. Bathrooms weren’t the best but weren’t the worst. We would stay again.

Scott Lockwood

For Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole: I would include photos if I could. The place Is poorly marked causing some tight turns to get turned around and back to the park. Also the signage is for Fireside not Jackson RV. Spaces were rediculously tight. Our neighbor kindly moved his pickup so we could leave in the morning. One dump station that didn’t open wide enough to fit the hose completely into. It was maybe worth $25. If you have any other option take them.

Linda

For Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole: I am new to RV life, but if I thought this place was the RV park standard, I would sell the RV and just stay home. The beauty and proximity of the Tetons is no trade off for the abysmal state of our space. The picnic table was 9” on one side and 1.5 feet on the other side from a crushed stone driveway, and when the neighboring truck backed in next our picnic table, I had to ask him not to swing the door open too wide lest he knock our food off. That was an attempt to find some humor in a desperate situation. $65 for this dismal overnight is no joke.

For Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole: Campground is located very convenient to Teton National Park. RV park is located behind a double row of cabins the resort rents out. They’ve definitely maxed out the number of RV spots in the small campground. Some spots are “reasonably” spaced but many are only a few feet apart. If you desire privacy and space to yourself this may not be the campground for you. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Assuming you aren’t looking for seclusion from your neighbor I would recommend this campground. The spacing isn’t much different from other options around Jackson (Virginian and KOA). Campgrounds around Jackson are a bit limited for such a popular tourist town. We stayed six nights and I would stay there again given the alternative options. Bathrooms were about as clean as most other campgrounds we’ve visited, location was good, and staff were friendly.

Danielle

For Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole: The only good thing about this campground is it’s close proximity to the Grand Tetons. It is extremely overpriced considering that campsites are right on top of each other - there isn’t room for ANYTHING! There are only 2 showers for the whole campground in the ladies’ room, or you can take your chances (or worse yet, chances with your daughters) and send them to the co-ed showers/bathrooms. The gravel is so deep on the driveway through the campground that not only do you feel like something is wrong with your car as you make your way through, it’s even difficult to walk on. I am currently here, listening to extremely loud neighbors several sites down, at 11:39pm, and I can definitely say that I will never choose this place again.
