For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: This was the second time I have stayed here. One negative thing was the sprinklers, they ran in the early morning and covered the RH side of my coach. They must use non potable hard water because the water stains are almost impossible to get off. And the cost was a little steep for a mid week night. This might be my last time staying here. During August, they need some more trees, it was brutally hot in the sun.

For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: Spitting image of a KOA. Not really big rig friendly. Sites are wide enough but too short. Stayed with a 38' MH and filled the site park the jeep in road. Hulk ups all worked fine. But if it rained this would be very muddy especially for the tenters. Would not stay again.

For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: Nice CG, very good WiFi, allowed me to work in the evening. Great views of the river and local surroundings. Clean & quiet, I will definitely stay here in the future.

Chad

For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: No trees no shade. The witch at the front counter said for us to drive around and check the campground out. Our 40ft camper is a little large to poke around checking the sights. The other part of our family was following so they took a 5 min roll through the campground. The witch came out and told us to leave since we weren’t staying and was extremely nasty. The other half was 3 min in on their 5 min look at the campground when she came out upset. She said we were blocking the road which we wasn’t. But either way if you want to stay in the desert with no shade, no access to the river and a jerk working the front desk this is your place.

Jane

For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: We just spent a week here, and I can’t say enough about this wonderful campground. The location is beautiful, surrounded by the Book Cliffs, peach orchards and vineyards. The sites are level, clean and with a decent amount of space between them. The pool is sparkling clean, there’s a darling sand area for the kids, immaculate restrooms with granite countertops - but best of all the owners care about this place and the people who stay here. Keith brought us a new bag of ice when he saw ours broke (our fault!) and even found us a welder when we discovered a broken shackle mount. This place is worth every penny, and in fact we have already made reservations to return next month. (By the way, it’s very hard to grow grass in this area of the country. They do have a working sprinkler system, and they’re careful not to run it when it might interfere with their guests activities.)

Shanny

For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: Disappointed in our weekend stay especially because this campground is on higher price. All grass was dead as were some trees. Saw there are sprinklers in place however they must not work or don’t use them. Store has very minimum items. The pool was nice. Sand pit for kids to play but no shade so too hot to play. Views of mountains and vineyards very pretty and it is a quiet park but will be returning.

Chris S

For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: We stayed here over memorial day weekend. We usually dry camp or camp at state parks and not too many RV parks. We wanted to have a reservation for that weekend so that we for sure have a spot. The campground appears to be brand new, very well-kept, clean, and family friendly. The sites are rather close together but It didn’t bother us too much as we met some really cool families there! The swimming pool was great, and clean and the temperature was pretty good. It has a really cool sand pit with boulders for young kids to play on. The bathroom facilities were immaculate and overall the whole place was very well-kept. We also really appreciated that employees and management seem to not bother any campers, they would periodically drive around but never stop to give you grief about anything (unless you were really causing trouble, I suppose)
