For Marina Dunes RV Park: Extremely expensive for what it is. Located on route 1, we heard the cars and trucks all night long. We don’t know the alternatives but didn’t like our experience for the price.

For Marina Dunes RV Park: I am a Thousand Trails member. We stayed from 12/26/23-1/2/24. The site we had was a back-in with fhu. We have a 38’ class A with slide outs on both sides. We have two dogs and try to go places that are dog friendly. This was perfect, our dogs had a great time and they provide poop bags and a trash can along the trail to the beach. Nice touch although I wish everyone actually used it. Things I loved about this place… location! We could walk along a trail to the beach and it was breathtaking between the flowering succulent ground cover and the crashing waves. Just wow. Highway noise? Not bad, I guess that depends on where you are maybe. We were in site 65. Maybe the sites seemed a little tight but it was made with love. Pavers instead of gravel and they added flowering plants and shrubs as well as a partial partition to give it a more private feel. We arrived at night and were pleasantly surprised by the little lamppost beside each campsite which helped us find our spot and park after dark. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. I am weird about bathrooms but these are well maintained. WiFi signal was good which is important for us since my husband works remotely. Minutes from Carmel, 17 mile drive and many other wonderful places to visit. (Big Sur, Carmel Mission, wineries, etc) I don’t understand why anyone is complaining. I felt so fortunate to have found an opening at this campground. As far as cost, it helps to be a Thousand Trails member. We would be very glad to stay again and hope to return soon.

For Marina Dunes RV Park: We stayed a week in our 37' motorhome. It's a bit tight to back into but obviously doable. What we loved about it is - 1. 500ft walk to the ocean 2. could have campfires 3. close to everything 4. Trees! Yes, it's a bit spendy but given it's a Thousand Trails park & we're not members, we expected a bit more. However, compared to other RV parks in Cal. during the summer, it definitely was not the most expensive one we've stayed at but it definitely was the closest to all the things we wanted to do! Yes, there is a hotel with parking lot for RV parking, but with all the trees and wide RV spots, this place felt like camping at a state park. We would most definitely stay again.

For Marina Dunes RV Park: Extremely expensive, for what you get. It’s located next to the Fwy., so it’s very noisy. The hotel next door was less than half the price. The park is clean, but definitely not worth the cost of $175 + tax per night, for full hookups and a bathroom..They need to be reminded it’s an RV Park, not a 5 star Hotel! Their prices should not be more than $45 per night. Would not recommend this park, and will not come back!

For Marina Dunes RV Park: Enjoyed our stay here. Management excellent. Nice store. Spotless bathrooms and showers. Hiking trail straight to beach. Some freeway noise but not bad, and drops off in the evening. WiFi and hookups all good.

Lourdes

For Marina Dunes RV Park: Nice and close to Monterey but very tight and noisy freeway noise at night we liked it. Clean, dog friendly would have given it more stars if it had a little more room to park your rig. Next time I would ask for a spot on the other side of park away from the highway. Very noisy at night. The management was very nice and friendly.
