For Ancient Cedars Mesa Cedars RV Park: Ancient Cedars is staffed by friendly, efficient, and helpful folks who took care of our needs at check in and during our stay. The park is clean and well maintained although we didn’t use the shower facilities. My wife appreciated the spacious and clean dog park that featured “playground equipment” for our pups. The close proximity to Mesa Verde can’t be beat either and we found the park to be quiet as well as dark at night. We experienced a mechanical issue during our stay which the staff helped us resolve, going above and beyond our expectations while being pleasant the entire time. The owner even stopped by to see how things were going with our repair. 1st class service. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

For Ancient Cedars Mesa Cedars RV Park: Super nice staff, clean, quiet park. Super close to the Mesa Verde National Park. Eat at Tequilas in Cortez- recommenced and yummy!!! :)

For Ancient Cedars Mesa Cedars RV Park: Overall good campground with great location just outside Mesa Verde. We very much enjoyed the older putt putt course (2adults and 2teens) and also appreciated the “Barney Fife” camp hosts as they made sure rules were followed and that we had peaceful stay. Staff was very helpful. We chose to stay in the back part of the campground to avoid the tighter spots closer to the playground. However playground was nice and all families there w young kids seemed to be enjoying themselves thoroughly. Bathrooms very clean and somewhat updated.

For Ancient Cedars Mesa Cedars RV Park: I was very disappointed in our stay here. The office staff was so friendly and helpful on the phone in planning my trip. They were also helpful when we arrived. However, the campground was overgrown with weeds and mostly just gravel. The special amenities like putt putt and the pool were outdated and a bit run down. It was also frustrating that two or three Barney Fife like guys were riding around on golf carts keeping a constant watch on every move we made from the moment we arrived through hook up, and they circled us like hawks during our break down in the morning.These guys made our stay EXTREMELY uncomfortable. We stayed at more than 20 campgrounds across America during our trip and were never treated like this anywhere else. This campground is very close to the park, but so are others. I would recommend staying there.

For Ancient Cedars Mesa Cedars RV Park: Stayed one night in class B van traveling from Texas to Vancouver Island, British Columbia. . Neat, clean, well run, reasonably priced RV park with super easy access to Mesa Verde National Park. I departed before daylight and somehow left my Progressive Industries surge protector on the electric pedestal. When I realized my mistake a day later, I called on the off chance it had been turned in to the office. The manager said he’d check immediately and found the surge protector exactly where I left it. I asked him if he would consider letting me pay him to box and mail it to me in Canada. He said that he would be happy to send it to Canada and text me with the postage he had paid, which was over $50. He refused any payment for the trouble of boxing it, driving it to the post office, filling out the Canadian customs forms or anything else except the postage. One of the highlights of my travel between Texas and Canada this summer will be the memory of the kindness Brent and his staff showed. I hope to be able to stay with them again when we return from Vancouver Island to Texas in October because it’s a wonderful RV park and because I’d like to thank them in person.

For Ancient Cedars Mesa Cedars RV Park: Really nice place and staff, in the middle of a large renovation of most of the area. Stayed four nights and is really good location to go to mesa verde and surrounding area. Cortez 10 minutes away. Pool hot tub not open for use as they were in the process of renovating and installing a new hot tub. Horseback riding company directly adjacent to park. Very clean facilities including laundry and main toilets however small toilet near our site had an unbolted toilet.
