2,000 evacuated in Disneyland hotel fire
2,300 guests were evacuated from the Disneyland Grand Californian Hotel after a Christmas tree caught fire in the lobby. The hotel is in the famous Anaheim, California amusement park.
The blaze broke out at about 3 a.m. local time as the artificial, 35 foot tall tree caught fire. Only two minor injuries were reported. Guests were allowed to return to their rooms within hours as the hotel had only sustainted some water and smoke damage.

Disney officials are offering a free night's stay to all of the evacuated guests.
