Can I use this app on other devices?
This is controlled by your iTunes accounts. You can install this app on any of your devices (iPhones, iPad, iPod Touch) with the same iTunes account. The biggest catch with this is that spouses probably have different accounts instead of sharing one. You have to buy the app for separate iTunes accounts. If you ever think about other platforms like Android, all apps from any developer have to be purchased again. Changing platforms can cost you hundreds more dollars if you use many apps and the glossy ads don't mention that because they are only selling hardware.
Where are the Exit numbers?
This is controlled by Apple Maps. Google had them in 2007 and Apple launched without them. Anyone still using this app with older iOS and Google Maps still has them showing on the map. Please request Apple to add exit numbers to their maps. I am one developer and have filed a request but the more they hear from more people, the better chance we have of it happening sooner.
Please add more reviews
There are actually thousands of reviews in the app from users but it takes time to build them up, We also have specific internet search for reviews on the campground name, state and reviews. Just like you went and did it yourself but it is a custom search engine, not a normal online search. We do take them on the individual detail view. The challenge with reviews is that they are hard to verify. We receive what turns out to be false reviews and information every day. Parks report each other as closed and try to leave bad reviews on others to boost their own business. Only about 15% of the reviews, comments and corrections that we get are actually legit at all and we have to spend time and work on every one of them.
Please add user notes
With this kind of feature, users can spend a lot of time making their own notes and then possibly lose it all with a update or just a phone change, which people with smartphones do quite often. And when it goes wrong, maybe it's our fault, maybe it is the phone doing something totally out of my control. We can't do this feature until it can be done well and be reliable. We care about the long term usage of the app.
