3396 No Stockton Hill Road, Kingman AZ 86401
Store #2051, Garden Center, Grocery, McDonalds, Pharmacy, 1-Hour Photo Center, Tire and Lube, Vision Center
This store has gone back and forth over the years. Apr 2017: We stayed one short night. The no overnight signs were posted, but the outer lot was full of RVs. There was no music blaring and nobody bothered us. No police activity. All good! July 2016: I phoned to verify ability to overnight park. She said she would not tell me I can not park there but that there is a city ordinance against it. She also said that there are RVs there every night so the decision is mine. Apr 2016: we stayed for one night. There were over 15 RVs in the parking lot. No trucks. The store seemed pleasant and accommodating lots of nearby restaurants. Mar 2016: We stayed here. The No overnight camping signs are still up. At least 12 campers were present. No problems at all. Mar 2016: Super shady, lots of beggars, people looking for unlocked doors, avoid! Feb 2016: Employee said city ordinance says no so if you get a ticket its on you. Plenty of RVs. Spent almost 300 dollars at the Walmart. Pleasant night. No problems. Jan 2016: We parked at this Walmart for a few hours (to get supplies, make dinner, and possibly sleep). But, after watching someone get arrested in the parking lot, being asked for money by panhandlers, and watching several shady characters wandering the parking lot, we decided to leave. In the few hours we were there we saw probably 10 police cars coming and going, taking care of problems. Jul 2015: Signs posted: city ordinance no overnight camping there were several other RVs and a few Semis. We were tired and needed to buy a battery for the toad in the morning so we chanced it. No problems to report, except that I did not sleep well. May 2015: Pulled in this morning 5/26/15 at 1am with intent to buy some supplies. Place looked like a KOA campground. Too many RVs to count, including a tour bus n gear trailer. May 2015: spent overnight at this location. Store manager advised they had no objections to anyone staying, however city ordinance might be an issue if the police came

They do not support us and we do not endorse or support this store in any way. We always encourage people to support campgrounds and rv parks. Many people traveling on the road these days use stores for parking and supplies. Many locations do NOT allow over night stays in parking lots due to store managers or local laws. Please call ahead to be sure if you want to do this.
