March 31 2023; overnight parking not longer allowed due to city orders. There are signs placed not allowing overnight parking. If you’re heading to Zion NP there is some BLM land just before Springdale at the right. We were lucky and had a spot on the campground in Zion due to cancellation., Mar 2023: Car. Got there around 9 and there was a small camper already parked on the left side next to the road so I stayed there too.
