3396 No Stockton Hill Road, Kingman AZ 86401
Store #2051, Garden Center, Grocery, McDonalds, Pharmacy, 1-Hour Photo Center, Tire and Lube, Vision Center
This store has gone back and forth over the years. Jan 2016: We parked at this Walmart for a few hours (to get supplies, make dinner, and possibly sleep). But, after watching someone get arrested in the parking lot, being asked for money by panhandlers, and watching several "shady" characters wandering the parking lot, we decided to leave. In the few hours we were there we saw probably 10 police cars coming and going, taking care of problems. Jul 2015: Signs posted: city ordinance no overnight camping there were several other RVs and a few Semis. We were tired and needed to buy a battery for the toad in the morning so we chanced it. No problems to report, except that I did not sleep well. May 2015: Pulled in this morning 5/26/15 at 1am with intent to buy some supplies. Place looked like a KOA campground. Too many RVs to count, including a tour bus n gear trailer. May 2015: spent overnight at this location. Store manager advised they had no objections to anyone staying, however city ordinance might be an issue if the police came and asked you to leave. We had probably 10 RVs stay overnight and it is a very pleasant area. The store closes from midnight to 6 a.m. Mar 2015: stayed here. Plenty of RVs staying around perimeter. Mar 2015: was told they do not allow overnight parking due to city ordinance. Two walmart employees actually debated this point before responding (I could overhear them talking) final answer was no. Mar 2015: signs posted in parking lot...no overnight camping per Kingman ordinance. Jan 2015: Stayed. On the perimeter of the parking lot. It was quiet all night. Nov 2014: It was fine - loud music a few times in the middle of the night. Parked along perimeter with several others doing the same. They said they cannot tell us it is ok to do so, but that plenty of people do. Oct 2014: Very busy Walmart parking lot. Her management no problem staying overnight but want us to park on the far ends of the building. Saw horse trailers, with the horses, schoolbu

They do not support us and we do not endorse or support this store in any way. We always encourage people to support campgrounds and rv parks. Many people traveling on the road these days use stores for parking and supplies. Many locations do NOT allow over night stays in parking lots due to store managers or local laws. Please call ahead to be sure if you want to do this.
