Campground Directions:
Travel East on Main Street/CR64 from US27 in Avon Park, Florida. Continue on CR64 toward Avon Park AFR/Avon Park Correctional Institute. At the Main Gate (alongside Lake Arbuckle), Ask the guard fir directions to the Military Rec Area Rangers Office. The guard at the Main Gate will provide directions to the Rangers office who will check you in and provide directions to CG.Campground Details:
$, All Year, RVs only, All ages, No tent, 55 ft elev, tables, water, toilets, showers, pet friendly, fish, trail, hike, primitive sites, Camping for both public and military, primitive area is mostly open only on weekends but check website for vaying schedule. Another area is only for 4 month volunteers (C)
