Campground Directions:
Buckman Road northwest of Santa Fe, Access Veterans Memorial Highway (599) from either I-25 south of Santa Fe (exit 282) or off of Saint Francis Drive, NW. Exit onto Camino La Tierra road heading west toward the Rio Grande. After about 4 miles, take a right onto Old Buckman Road. After about 7.5 mi of dirt, curves and dips of washboard road, you will reach the turn off on your left used for parking for the Diablo Canyon Recreation Area. higher clearance or 4WD is recommended but note that conditions vary.Campground Details:
free, 8 sites, All Year, All ages, Tents, 25 ft max RV length, 5840 ft elev, grill, trail, hike, primitive, 4 walk-in sites, 4 small back in sites, rock climbing area, hiking and trail is in a wash so use caution (C)
