The Catalina Flyer departs from Newport Beach. All of those ports access Avalon, on the east end of the island. In order to travel to Two Harbors (the Isthmus) on the west end of the island, passenger boats leave from San Pedro only. Boat transportation is for people, no vehicles allowed.
